Nicole Calvano, RYT, founder and director of The Infinite U, LLC, believes that every individual is a miracle of creation with infinite potential.
Having struggled with various health issues throughout childhood and spending many years feeling broken, defective, and in need of fixing, Nicole set out to find her infinite potential.
As a college student studying abroad in Australia, she took her first yoga class and quickly discovered its healing power. With time, yoga became a vital part of her process to re-discovering her inner wholeness. Several years later, she went on to complete a 200 hour Soma Yoga Teacher Certification.
Initially, Nicole taught adults of all ages and fitness levels and saw profound changes taking place in her students, most notably, they began to cultivate a more loving, positive relationship with their bodies. A year later, Nicole combined her passions for children and yoga and began teaching group and private classes to kids and teens. She soon discovered the profound impact that yoga had on kids with autism, and went on to create The Infinite U. Her inherent gifts of sensitivity, gentleness, and intuition were assets to this new work. A resident of NJ at the time, she taught classes in community-based and private settings throughout the state, touching the lives of hundreds of families.
Later, while suffering from chronic leg pain, Nicole continued her personal healing journey and took training in Reiki. It was then that she connected with her inherent healing ability in a new and profound way. She discovered the power of healing energy and its transformative effect. Excitedly, she shared her new-found gift of healing with as many people as she could, from cancer patients to severely-stressed individuals to parents, children, teachers, and healers.
Through her own healing journey and service to the world, Nicole realized that feeling safe and secure in our bodies is a vital component of healing. Using child and teen-friendly approaches, she combines her gifts of healing and yoga to support young people on their journey back to health. She continually witnesses kids and teens shine as they take ownership of their healing process. Filled with certainty that she is here to serve the world's young people, Nicole is grateful for the many opportunities her own healing journey has provided.
