empowering children to connect with their infinite Selves
Introducing our founder and director, Nicole Calvano, RYT:
Nicole graduated from The College of NJ with a bachelor of science degree in Biology and a minor in Women and Gender Studies. She took her first yoga class during a semester abroad in Brisbane, Australia, and immediately experienced the value it had in nurturing her body, mind, and spirit. After working in the field of chiropractic for several years and deepening her personal yoga practice, she went on to become a certified Soma Yoga Teacher. At first she predominately taught grown-ups, focusing on a more gentle practice that encouraged her students to truly nurture themselves, body, mind, and spirit, and to embrace their inherent magnificence.
By the following year, Nicole combined her love of yoga with her passion for teaching, guiding, learning from and playing with children, and began teaching yoga to young ones. In group, semi-private, and private settings, Nicole taught yoga to children of varying abilities and sensitivities, offering them a fun way to connect with and experience their Infinite Selves, to build self-esteem, and provide a healthy outlet for coping with the pressures of growing up in today's world.
Nicole created The Infinite UTM, LLC as a natural progression of her work with grown-ups and with children (on the autism spectrum, other sensitivities, and typically developing). In addition to working directly with the children, she discovered the extraordinary power in nurturing parents and uniting the whole family in the practice of yoga.
Her love, compassion, patience and gentleness for every miracle of creation truly sets her apart from others. She knows wholeheartedly that she was put on this Earth to serve the world's children, grounding them in their beauty and magnificence so that they, too, can live out their divine life purpose with clarity, joy, and ease.
Nicole knows it's time for a paradigm shift, one in which children grow up remembering who they truly are: magnificent beings with Infinite inherent potential! She knows that it is especially important for the LOVE GENERATION that is blessing this planet to be especially nurtured and offered tools to thrive in this life. These children are here to teach us profound love and harmony, and we owe it to them (and to ourselves!) to allow that.
Nicole envisions a world of peaceful individuals, firmly rooted in the knowing that each and every one of us is love itself, equally connected to the divine and Mother Earth...and it all starts with the children (and their parents!).
